PAGAN PRIDE UK 2017 - SUNDAY 6TH AUGUST

The Arboretum; Nottingham

At Pagan Pride UK we love to give you a jam-packed day of live music, dance, talks, workshops, performances and fun activities for FREE! This year is no different, except that we’ll be BIGGER and BETTER than ever!

Here’s what you can expect at Pagan Pride UK 2017:

 

LIVE MUSIC

Join us at the band stand for a fantastic afternoon of LIVE music. Find out who's playing here!

TALKS AND WORKSHOPS

There will be FOUR exciting speakers’ venues at Pagan Pride UK 2017 including the Green Man’s Tree and TWO speakers’ forums, plus the Rose Garden. Each one is filled to the brim with thought-provoking discussions, wonderful workshops  and fascinating talks.

DANCE ARENA

This part of the arboretum will be filled with colour and motion! Head down to the Dance Arena for performances from a huge array of talented folk, from bellydancers to morris dancers to hoop dancers! Plus watch out for dancers at the Main Stage between bands!

There’ll also be FREE workshops running throughout the day so you can have a go for yourself and there’ll be open dancing time at the end of the day to try out your new skills.

ARTS TENT

Join us at the Arts Tent for a variety of performances from poetry to dance to storytelling.

We’ll also be filling it with sofas, throws and maybe some incense to add to the chilled out vibe. Perfect for taking a break from the busier parts of the festival!

COMMUNITY

We're hosting a special area to celebrate not only the Pagan community but the place pagans take in the wider community. With stalls, speakers, information and networking, come and find out about Pagans in the local and national community

 

FAMILY FUN

If you’re bringing your little ones, be rest assured there’ll be plenty of ways to keep them entertained! Our family area will be full of toys and games, craft activities, storytelling and facepainters* to ensure a fun day out for folk of all ages. 

*please note there will be a small charge for facepainting and all funds raised go back to Pagan Pride UK.

WATCH OUT FOR...

Walkabout perfomers and other acts touring the arboretum. Our folk are so full of talent and energy, sometimes they just can’t help themselves :) This year other attractions include a living history camp, stiltwalkers, dance acts, a 'tree-sure hunt', and much more! Find out what's going on here.

SHOPPING

Though Pagan Pride UK is a FREE festival, we know some of you like to do a little shopping. So we’re excited to say that dozens of stalls will be filling our marketplace this year, stocking a huge variety of wares from witchy supplies, art and recycled crafts to services like tarot reading. So bring a few pennies if you can and take a look round!

 

FOOD AND DRINK

Our sponsors, Castle Rock Brewery will be at Pagan Pride UK 2017 with their fantastic beer! There’ll also be a great variety in food options, from traditional festival foods to vegan/vegetarian options from great businesses. Whatever you like, we hope there’ll be something for you!

 

And don't forget...

THE AFTERPARTY

Are you craving more after the festival? The After Show Party starting at 7pm for more fantastic LIVE music.

It's only £3 on the door or you can visit the Info Point during the festival to pick up a ticket for only £1! What a bargain :) And of course our wonderful volunteers get free entry.  More details TBC later.
